I found out about its demise only when my buddy J-ROB posted the above schematic in a discussion of the Western Electric 133A in Hi-Fi Haven.

These are the 32 regular issues I've collected starting with Volume 3 from August 1996, which featured the article that inspired my open baffle project back when G. A. Briggs' design had been forgotten for decades.

I also have special issues like the Altec book, Vintage Analog (Garrard 301, Denon DL103, Ortofon SPU, RMG 309, SME 3012, Thorens TD124, etc.) WE/Altec 755As, SE OPTs, DHTs to Western Electric 753C, 757A, 555, etc.

Up until the end, Stereo Sound Tube Kingdom showed the audio world the proper way to build an open baffle! 

But alas, all good things come to an end...
