This was my main score of the day. After careful manipulation of the mechanism + a few drops of Naphtha, I was able to revive the Canon P's shutter. Click here to see pics taken by the camera + lens.
No. 5 = Broadcast turntable + Gray Research 103-LP
No. 7 = Western Electric KS-16608-L1, essentially a Williamson circuit with 12AU7s + 6L6GCs
No. 14 = large format Altec + JBL horns
No pictures this time around but a couple of folks who've visited the blog said hello. It was nice to meet you, Frank and Jeff! I also had a nice long chat with Max with whom I've exchanged emails dating back to my old website. See you again soon, Kevin, Lar, Paul and Phil! Finally, I got to catch up and talk shop with my buddy from New England, Charles!
Comparatively more sellers than buyers this time around, which was probably why I got to pair up my GE A1-400 when I wasn't actively looking for one.😉
It's a lot more fun to travel with my co-pilot.😊 We treated ourselves to a nice dinner after the show!🍻👍

A belated comment. It was good to meet and talk with you at Kutztown Joseph! I saw that you mentioned seeing the two KS-16608 L1 amplifiers. I have two that Rich Modafferi and I restored and they are two of my favorites. Really great sound. I did not know that they used the Williamson circuit. Best regards and I hope to see you again. Frank
ReplyDeleteVery nice of you to drop by, Frank! I look forward to seeing you next Spring!
